Iced Matcha Guide
An iced Matcha should taste smooth, vibrant, and refreshing—not watery. The secret is preparing the matcha correctly before pouring over ice.

Iced Matcha Guide
Ingredients
- 2–4g matcha (1–2 tsp)
- 50–60 ml warm water (70–80°C)
- Ice cubes
- 150–200 ml milk or water
- Optional sweetener: honey, vanilla syrup, or agave
Step 1: Sift
Sift the matcha into a bowl or shaker to remove clumps.
Step 2: Mix
Add warm water and whisk in a fast W motion for 15–30 seconds until smooth.

Step 3: Prepare the glass
Fill a glass with ice.
Step 4: Add milk or water
Pour in your preferred base:
- Oat milk → creamy and naturally sweet
- Coconut milk → tropical flavor
- Almond milk → lighter taste
- Dairy milk → classic texture
Step 5: Pour matcha
Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the milk and ice for layered presentation.
